Day 28 We made it - ONE MORE NIGHT!!!! This morning we left Katherine fairly early about 7.30am for the long 600+ km day. Had a good morning in the car with no major flipouts and we stopped in Daly Waters for a rest and a ice cream. Continued on to Elliott where we had a late lunch in the park. Day 27 We are getting closer to home and just quietly I can't wait!!!!! So last night was the worst night's sleep ever - it was so hot and no air at all. But when we got up at 5.30 it was windy as - weird. We actually has our tent packed and put down first today and nearly beat dad. We have 2 more mornings to get done first so hopefully. Day 2 Father's Day today - the girls all gave Andy their present from school and Kindy, which he loved. Then we set out from the Threeways Roadhouse at around 8.30am heading for Katherine.
