In Auckland, my last destination in New Zealand!

Left straight after breakfast and headed to Whangarei Falls where we went for a short walk to see the falls.

Arrived in Auckland at lunchtime. Said goodbye to everyone, it was weird after being with them for the past 17 days. But a new adventure begins soon!

Checked in my apartment. Yes, I'm staying in this lush apartment for the next three nights as a treat to myself as it was on special offer. It's so nice! I have a bedroom, kitchen, living room and bathroom with a washing machine.

Quickly went out to the supermarket to get some food. Had some lunch before meeting Roger, my dad's friend from school, with his partner and Nicholas Padden who used to live round the corner from me when I was little. He's currently staying with them for a little while. It was nice to finally be able to sign again mad communication was so much easier too so it was a nice change. It was good to catch up with them for a bit.

It was pouring with rain - as usual it seems! I was tired too so decided to just chill for the rest of the afternoon. Cooked some dinner - chicken curry! Which was so nice especially to have an homemade meal too.
