In Palenque! Staying in a jungle lodge for the next two nights. It's so cool here, there's lots of different wildlife around including monkeys on trees right next to where we're sleeping.

The 9 hour bus journey wasn't too bad! As I went to bed very late last night I was so tired so managed to get quite a bit of sleep! And did some reading, finished a book off, A Street Cat Named Bob, which was good! Started a new one, The Woman who Went to Bed for a Year, which is a bit weird but something to read lol!!

It's unbelievable how many speed bumps there are on Mexican roads! It gets very annoying when you're trying to sleep lol!

Was so hot and humid when we arrived so went for a swim which was nice. Looks like it'll rain tomorrow though :( hoping to visit the Palenque ruins (if it doesn't rain!)

Not a lot to say seeing as I spent most of the day on a bus lol!

Oh yeah the Russian found his passport this morning! Lucky him! He left it at a currency exchange so he was very lucky they still had it. They had to get a flight out from Merida to Palenque instead.

Off to grab some decent sleep! So so tired. Not getting enough sleep so hopefully I can tonight!
