A good day in Palenque. Felt so much better after a good night's sleep, 7 hours, the longest since I've arrived in Mexico! It didn't rain, yay! Visited the Palenque ruins. Walked up so many steps which showed how unfit I am! Some people say it's better than Chichen Itza. We were able to walk up the steps of some of the ruins so had lovely views. In Palenque! Staying in a jungle lodge for the next two nights. It's so cool here, there's lots of different wildlife around including monkeys on trees right next to where we're sleeping. The 9 hour bus journey wasn't too bad! As I went to bed very late last night I was so tired so managed to get quite a bit of sleep!
