In Potosi!
Woke up feeling so rubbish!
Just as I finished off my packing and was ready to go, we were then told that the pick up was delayed to 12pm instead of 9am as the road wasn't blocked anymore, yay! A shorter journey :D plus it meant I could start catching up with my blog as am a few days behind!
It took about 3 hours to get to Potosi.
Bolivia so far reminds me so much of Peru. Especially the people and the way they dress. It's poorer than the places I visited Peru though especially with the buildings. It makes me really appreciate what I have back home and how lucky we all are. It's amazing how content the people here seem compared to back home considering that they don't have the privileges we do. It just goes to show that money isn't everything, we should just appreciate life more and the people around us.
Wifi finally after nearly 4 days! Everyone was on their phones most of the afternoon catching up with everything, how bad is that?!? :/
Finally I was able to do some laundry! I have soooo many clothes to be washed! So have nothing to wear apart from my hiking trousers and summer clothes until I get them back tomorrow! They'll have to do for now!
Watched a bit of the World Cup, well, for me not really! There's another group staying at the same hotel so they joined us too. Played some games for a bit afterwards before going out for dinner. It's one girl, Aimee's birthday tomorrow so everyone bought her many drinks. Bad idea because of the high altitude it went to her head so quickly and she was so drunk, it was so funny though! She kept hugging Rodrigo and telling him that he was her man. Think he liked the attention however much he tried to deny it lol!
Went to a bar afterwards with the other group and quite a few people were so drunk, it was actually funny to watch them all. Only went to be sociable as didn't want to drink as still feeling rubbish! At least I'll be fit tomorrow unlike many of them :p
