Big Wave from Bondi!! Hello all! Well, On from Melbourne to Sydney, with the small matter of a 12 hour overnight bus journey in between - which, im proud to say was a breeze as i did my impression of a koala and slept most of the way! Arrived in the city and met Sonia (Stone) - how funny! Only Sonia could be the person i meet the other side of the world and it seems normal! Headed straight for the beachy areas to seek out some cheap accomodation. We are staying at the end of Bondi Beach, which is literally buzzing full of surfers! Today we did a stunning long walk around the headlands, over a few bays. We walked to Tamarama Beach - how cool! I was in my usual style, ridiculously excited by the similarity to my lovely name! And the beach was stunning too! One of the guides we read said it was also known as Gamourama (which i thought was particularly fitting for me - although perhaps not quite so much right now as Traveller T has not seen make up or a decent outfit, let alone hair products for over a week now!!). Sydney seems huge! Looking forward to exploring. I have already hunted down the on-the-beach yoga classes and meditation sessions - so getting nicely booked up to get bendy and unwind. I think i will need this as have just booked a surfing lesson for soonish and everyone keeps telling me how exhausting it is!
