Cooey from Coogie! Have moved a few bays round from the lovely bondi, to a place called coogie. Its pretty here too and the hostel looks right out onto the beach, with balconies!! hee hee! who needs 5* when you have 10 bed dorms (with cockroaches in the toilets!). Seriously, its fab though. One of our first major 'near-miss incidents' occurred the other day. We did a really nice scenic walk from bondi round the headlands to coogie, but decided to traverse across the cliffs/ rocks instead of using the 'normal' path! (New Zealand, adventure capital of the world, here we come!) Got a bit stuck when the tide came in, sun set and crabs and spiders started to rear their ugly heads! But made it in the end, a few memorable scratchs/ war wounds later! Fleur was wearing a flyaway skirt and so the whole experience was even more amusing as it flew over her head at one point, while mountaineering up the cliff face!! Anyway, will stop writing now, as must get an early night tonight (not been too common so far!) in order to be on prime surfer form for my full day of surf lesson near the national park tomorrow - will let you know if i can stand!
