Landed in Tasmania the other day. It is beautiful here! Friday we spent the day flying and got into the city in the evening. We live only 2 blocks from town, and about a 20 minute walk from the city center. On Friday night we went into town to eat dinner. Saturday we went into the markets. I've never been to such a big market place. They had everything you can imagine. Sunday we had lunch at Franklin Square in the city, and then took a hike up Mt. Wellington. (pictures to come). Today was the first day of class. We got a tour of the new school, and were given the chance to take a bus to the top of Mt. Wellington. On Thursday we are going to go on a class field trip to the Hobart Port, and last on in the course we are taking a 4 day trip along the east coast and Southeast. The class is on the enviornment so we will be doing a lot of exploring which will be great! This weekend is out Easter break, so we are in the middle of planning a road trip to the Northwest which will be a lot of fun.
