Our 2nd wedding anniversary. We had a chilled our morning playing with Flynn who was very cute.

We went into town after lunch and bought picnic food in woolworths and took over an hour to find a bottle of wine!! We then walked to the botanical gardens, sat on a bench and enjoyed a yummy picnic with an amazing view across the harbour to the opera house and bridge and also across the gardens to the city.

It was overcast but not raining and not too windy. We watched the sun set and walked out of the gardens towards the opera house when it was dark. I was hoping the vivid light show would start whilst we were still in the gardens but it didn't start until 6pm.

Vivid started when we were right underneath the opera house ABD was really cool!!

We spent the rest of the evening walking around the harbour to get different views of the opera house lit up. Many other buildings in the city were also lit up! We ended up on the harbour bridge where we watched the show one last time. The huge ship left port which was amazing to see because when it went around the opera house they were almost the same size!!

We got the bus back and must have walked about 10km that afternoon do were very tired! We felt very privileged to have spent our anniversary in Sydney watching Vivid!
