Uncle Ivor gets up at 5.30 for work - so early! Garth and I spent the morning reviewing our budget and researching Australia. Uluru looks like its going to be very hard to do... :(
Nicole dropped Flynn off with Jan as she (nanna) looks after him Mon, Tue and Fridays. He was quite shy of us and loves watching The Wiggles (which is a new and slightly bizzare concept to us)!
Jan drove us to West Ryde station (only after I made Flynn cry trying to extend the straps in his car chair) to get the train into town to explore. Once we got there I realised how tired I was and after finding out from the box office that all the cheap seats for the whole week had gone for the ballet in the opera house, we went back home!
Garth and I managed to watch the first episode of season 3 Game of Thrones and we got ready for dinner.
We drove the 5km in bad traffic to Auntie Laura's flat. Despite Laura living so close to Ivor they haven't seen each other since Marks funeral. We eventually found Laura and Hector and walked up the road with them to their local club for dinner. Auntie Laura is the eldest of 6 Gleeson's; Laura, David, Peter & Ivor, Gareth and Bronwyn. There are 13 years between Laura and Bronwyn but it was easy to see the resemblance!
Joining us for dinner was Laura and Hector's son Craig, his wife Vanessa and their daughter Reagen. Garth and I sat next to Auntie Laura and chatted over a lovely sizzling Chinese. Craig and Vanessa are displaying their photography and art work at the same exhibition in July which we will unfortunately miss. It was lovely meeting garth's Uncle, Auntie and cousin!! (Craig's brother Ian is still in SA).
We were home by 8.30 and watched some TV before bed.
