We had a lazy start at 10 and Sara took us into town on the tram. We met Gareth on his lunch break for a fantastic coffee at this hidden cafe down an alleyway (v. London). We woke at 5.30 had some breakfast and said goodbye to uncle Ivor and Auntie Jan ( :( ) and departed for out 8 hour drive to Melbourne. The speed limit was 110kmph which felt much more natural than 100 in NZ. We took turns driving and breaking regularly with a McDs ( :( ) for lunch.
