My b-day :D I got awesome present(s) from my Lovey: a 4 hour riding trip today to the countryside AND a tattoo gift"card" for one great tattoo shop back home, to have that aaaawesome Giger -tattoo to my back, which I have thought about already a long time!! :D
I love her so much (though I sure don't know how to appreciate that enough from time to time)!
-- We went to riding at ten o'clock to the Happy Ranch. I had a white/grey stallion called "Prim", who looked like an Arab or Arabmix. Nice horse, though pretty tame to be a stallion, if you ask me ;) Anyway, he was nice, knew how to gallop (but that was about it ;D
Our guide tried 4 times, if we'd like to go for a shorter ride than the 4hrs, 'cause it was the hottest time period of the day, but we sticked to the 4hrs ;)
We also got the say to the guy quite many times, that we also want to go _fast. But after a coupla galloping times I guess he too noticed that we could ride better than him, so after that we got to go more longer periods fast, which was sooo fun! :D The day was furiosly hot, but we didn't mind. The little villages along our way were nice, the temple ok, and everywhere kids were shouting us "hello"& waving their hands, heh.
At the middle of a longer galloping session one of my stirrups got loose, but luckily it didn't bother me, one or two, all the same if you know how to ride and have good balance ;D I've jumped even fences without the other stirrup, so I have some experience 'bout that ;))
My thigh muscles only got some harsh handle during those 4hrs, so let's see how well I'll walk tomorrow ;D
My horse just didn't really know how to gallop in turnings right, had cross canter, which took some time to correct coupla times.
Reins in one hand and waving with the other while galloping fast is just so fun!! :D We had very nice day, it started to rain only at the end, while we were about 10-15 mins away from the stables, but we aleeady were so totally wet from sweat that it didnot bother, almost on the contrary.
And when we got back to the stables, our guide thanked us coupla times, that he had exceptionally fun as well. =) I guess because I think that he doesn't get so many chances to go so fast than he did with us. I guess most of the riders aren't that good, families, etc.
Back to the hotel to have a graceful shower after the ride!
After refreshing went to the centre for some drinks and food.
We went to the Sugar Palm for a dinner. That restaurant where Gordon Ramsay learned how to cook Amok. We almost did not get a table, but then we finally got, luckily. We had expected quite much from this restaurant, but unfortunately it lowered our expectations: amok wasn't even half as good as it was in Rikitikitavi(!), the spicyness came solely(!) from added chilis, and one dish was uneatable; way too much salt/fishsauce in it! Also, when we teturned it to the kitchen the butler almost refused to take the feedback, DUH! ..AND they didn't even bothered to try again and bring us another portion!! Now is that pathetic, or what?! Well, we left tips they deserved to the TripAdvisor and Foursquare right away :DD So do not bother to eat over there! :P
After dinner we went for drinks. Though it was my b-day we didn't get drunk, 'cause tomorrow we were planned to go to see the temples, and that wouldn't be so much fun in a hangover, would it?! ;)
Anyway, I didn't even feel like drinking that much, some pints and drinks were just fine. I already had a great day, so I was happy like this! =)))
