A day in Istanbul while changing the plane. We had 8 hrs to spend, so we went to the city centre by a metro and a tram, it took about 45mins to the stop where you could see the blue mosque and Hagia Sofia. Went also inside the blue mosque, since we were here now, and I guess we never will again. So we can say that "been there, seen that". Had to take a scarf on our heads, when went inside, which wasn't such an easy piece for me.. ;P Just do NOT like anything what...

Had an ok breakfast at the hotel, after a pretty bad nights' sleep. It was too hot in our room, felt like that the air condition wasn't working properly.. :P Well, then off to city to do some shopping. I'd have to find shoes, coupla trousers, coupla shirts would be nice, some clubwear, I mean. And well....after three(3!!) missed stores (they just weren't there anymore, the place was right), came to the "good old" Xtra-X, BUT found only one(!) pair of trousers o...

Came to Berlin, again. How many times I've been here, I don't even remember. Many. Anyway, I've always liked this city. One of my favourites in Europe, alwaya been and I guess it'll always be. Arrived from Tegel to Wittenbergstr U-bahn station and it started a pouring rain, of course. Fortunately not far to the hotel at An der Urania, but enough to be wet from the walking in the rain. Changed dry clothes, and decided for a place to eat. Chose Viatnese place call...

Waiting for our connecting flight to Delhi and onwards to Kathmandu. 5hrs waiting, so you have to eat smth. And what airports have to offer you? s*** and more s***, of course. On the pic there's probably the only half-eatable dish at our gates; meat loaf in Bavarian style, with cild potato salad: 9,80€(!) - which is ridicilous, I know. Pity, one has ro eat smth. The other option just as bad. And the the third: paninis. So crap. Our flight is leaving at 19.45, ...

Awoke at 8.30 AM, breakfast, packing and then off to Victoria St. to catch the southern railways train to Gatwick. Never fleen from that airport before (always been at Heathrow), so gonna see that one too, now. The train cost 12,50£/person, takes 40mins. Cheaper than Gatwick Express, which would've cost from 17,50£/person and would've been only 5-10mins faster. -- Gatwick was a nice airport, good whisky shop over there! ;) The security check was almost ridicio...
