Just a quickie, to say we have arrived safe and sound in oz!! was strange saying bye to everyone back home and there were some tears (of joy) from Gp!

the flight wasnt as bad as i thought, it is really long but after a few movies u get used to it!! sat by a lovely couple and we toasted our trip over loads of bottles of wine..... they were a little crazy.... and were obsessed with seeing a platapus! each to their own and all that!!

met ste at sydney airport, felt like i was in some dodgy rom com meeting a long lost family member! i must admit a shed a few tears! was lovely to see him and he was looking taller and slighty less white than before!!

Then met gem at wake up (our hostel), was wicked to see her and hear her tales from Africa........ it was pretty late by time i got to wake up our hostel so after loads of gossiping we crashed out..... Friday was spent on a tour by ste, who knows his stuff.... he could write a book on cheap things to do in Sydney....... was amazing to see the harbour bridge and sydney opera house........ after seeing it loads in pictures..... to see it up close is breath taking!

we got snap happy with our cameras and took loads of pics. getting in the sights from every angle....... (think clicky camera us style carly!)......

Fri nite i was introduced to passion pop (think the worst wine in the world mixed with a weird fruity aftertaste) it was disgusting but did the job cos i was dancin the nite away in sidebar (bar in our hostel) with ste and gem..... complety hammered!

Saturday was spent feeling rough as hell, combination of a hangover and jet lagg....... we did manage to sort our travel plans and have booked a tour of the east coast....... byron bay to cairns..... sounds fantastic.....

Today was spent beaching it, me and gem did a massive walk from cogee beach to bondi took a good few hours but was well worth it!!

Me and steve are doing the harbour bridge walk tomorrow, very excited but sligty scared! will write with some more info soon....... hope u are all well, missing you all
