I was trying to find out information on learning the Lao Langauge at any schools in the area,I didn't find anything, but I did run into the LaoStudies website and found your blog. I was wondering if you had any pointers on how to go about learning the language. I would love to do a program like you're doing and just immerse myself in the country and language. Do you know anyone that might have any info on places or schools where I can learn the language possibly down here in the Florida area? I've looked into some TESL opportunities as well. Sara Most likely, you will traevl through Los Angeles. It's roughly 14 hours from Sydney to LAX, and another 3 and a half to 4 hours from LAX to Mexico City. Returning from Lima, again you will likely go through LAX although it's about 8 and a half hours from Lima, Peru to LAX and then 14 hours back to Sydney. This is just the flying time and it depends on how long the connection at LAX is. Also this assumes that they're going through LAX but otherwise they'd have to make 2 connections and it would take longer.
