Hey all, just a quick update!
We are both feelin more settled work wise,was a bit of a rocky road doing some rubbish temp jobs...... but its all good now....
Gem is now working for a swanky restaurant in darling harbour..... and has manged to pour wine over customers!! im doing some customer service work.... ringing up shop keepers to install mobile phone machine.... its exciting stuff!!........ but on the plus side the people are a good laugh.....and i get to facebook at work :)
Apart from working we are still loving sydney...... we went to see edward scissorhands at the Sydney opera house.... was amazing..... we were surprised there was no singing, it was all dancing!..... The night started off being a sophisticated one.... but i let the side down by getting wasted and got escorted out the bar by a bouncer! oppppsssssss also managed to destroy my fave jeans!
My mate from uni has just arrived in Sydney so have been playing tour guide and showing her the sights and sounds...... we even managed to wear shorts and t-shirts to manly beach.... not bad considering it is winter! Getting really cold now tho...... we need our winter woolies!!
Apart from nites out drinking cheap cocktails we have generally been soaking up the sights of sydney and trying to save our money for NZ by doing everything free that we can....... We went to a blues festival at darlin harbour..... visted the aquarium, went to the museum of modern art(was rubbish!!) etc
We went to the Aroma festival at the rocks last weekend...... full of chocolate, tea and coffee.... delicious! Not enough free samples tho.....:)
hope ur all good! send as an email, message, facebook, txt, etc..... so many ways there are no excuses.....
we know we have been rubbish at uploading photos will get some more up soon!
Starting to miss england now and have felt a bit homesick..... but You'll be pleased to know that im no longer missing english tea..... have found an english shop selling PG tips, hula hoops, and other delicious treats !! heheheeee we know we r saddos!!

Sara Most likely, you will traevl through Los Angeles. It's roughly 14 hours from Sydney to LAX, and another 3 and a half to 4 hours from LAX to Mexico City. Returning from Lima, again you will likely go through LAX although it's about 8 and a half hours from Lima, Peru to LAX and then 14 hours back to Sydney. This is just the flying time and it depends on how long the connection at LAX is. Also this assumes that they're going through LAX but otherwise they'd have to make 2 connections and it would take longer.
