The elaborate gold painted ceiling in the Baptistery of Cattedrale di Santa Maria Del Fiore (Santa Maria Cathedral). The floor is a mass of mosaic marble with many patterns. A bit jumbled up really, but on closer inspection each section was beautiful. My love affair with mosaics continues!!!
