Well I'm now in Christchurch, the biggest city in the South Island but that isn't saying very much. Started the trip in the South Island by heading down the west coast, where it rains continuously and you don't get any mobile reception either! Okay I've been pretty terrible at updating this but internet access seems pretty pricey over here! Arrived in Auckland May 7th and spent about 5 days there. Didn't really do much just boring admin type stuff and feeling a bit miserable about leaving Australia! Well I'm now a certified diver, woo hoo! But I very nearly wasn't.  The first day of my 5 day course was in the pool here in Cairns and I can honestly say I hated it. I felt an overwhelming sense of panic being in the water with all this stuff on me and have no idea how I didn't just stand up. Well I'm now at my final stop in Australia, Cairns. Can't believe it's all coming to an end, I have absolutely loved Australia. More than I ever thought I would. Have even coped quite well with the wildlife and being eaten alive by the insects!So I have just over a week in Cairns.
