Okay I've been pretty terrible at updating this but internet access seems pretty pricey over here!

Arrived in Auckland May 7th and spent about 5 days there. Didn't really do much just boring admin type stuff and feeling a bit miserable about leaving Australia! Then headed up to the Bay of Islands for a week where the weather was much warmer, I did some diving and completed my advanced open water course. Then left Auckland on the Stray bus on a tour of the North Island. The plan had been to get off and stop for a bit but I enjoyed not making decisions for myself and had a nice bunch of people on the bus so I didn't get off at all! Got to go caving in Waitomo which totally freaked me out, I definitely do not love small spaces.  Though the glow worms were pretty awesome. Also done some short walks in the National Park as the Tongorairo crossing (very famous apparently and amazing views) was closed due to bad weather.

Now in Wellington and heading over to the South Island tomorrow.  Will definitely stop off as I still have lots of time left.  Getting really excited about the snow and planning to visit as many ski resorts as I can over here! Hope I get the weather for it, and that my budget holds out!
