So on a bit of a whim I'm now in Melbourne! Only a short 12 hour bus ride from Sydney. Bit of a sidetrack from my original plan but I'd heard so many good things I had to do it. It feels quite european here compared to Sydney. took a walk along the river yesterday and there were loads of people out rowing, made me feel quite homesick!!Doing a trip of the Great Ocean Road tomorrow and may have to squeeze in a trip to the Neighbours set!

Well I've had a pretty crammed few days. Tuesday we headed out to Sydney Olympic Park. We took a ferry which was quite exciting! Had a tour of the Telstra Stadium, the one where we won the world cup (rugby of course!). It was a pretty impressive stadium, you could really imagine the atmosphere on a big event day. I'm in Sydney now with Michelle. We just got back from visiting the Koala sanctuary where we got up close and personal with some kangaroos and koalas. Also got to see some ickle fairy penguins and wombats. Got a lesson on throwing a boomerang from a local who we couldn't uderstand at all, he was also shearing a sheep but we didn't catch much of that either. haven't seen any huge spiders yet.
