Day 13
Bath
Bit of a relaxing day today with a late start. After lunchtime we headed to the Sydney Gardens just outside the city and from there we walked to Aqua Glass Bath. Here we watched a demonstration of glass blowing and production. It was quite amazing and the warehouse was warm which was a welcome place as it was cold and rainy outside. Renee and Maddy had a go at glassblowing.
Special memorial pieces later we headed out of town to Castle Combe, a small hamlet in the Cotswolds. It really is a picture postcard little place centred around The Manor, a golf and country club. Apparently it has been used for movies and it's not hard to see why with it's narrow streets, low doors and stone cottages.
Back to Bath and dinner in a restaurant that has burger, chips and a drink for just 3.99 pounds. Last night in the UK. Drive to Ashford then train to Paris tomorrow evening.
