well here i am in kyoto, culture capital of japan and it hasnt let me down so far. was a bit difficult getting here and its much harder to get around the place but its good clean fun all the same! spent today working my way round the buddhist(?) temples, they are fantastic but once youve seen a few they kinda blend into one really, got some good photos though and will upload them for your viewing pleasure soon! stay tuned rat fans. going to the zen gardens tommorrow so no doubt there will be more monks meditating etc. sent some snail mail post cards today to keep the old folks happy so look out for them. weather is still really hot but we had a huge thunder storm today which was exciting. the temples are all made from wood you see so the fire brigade goes a bit siren happy when there are thousands of volts of electricity flyin about! hope you are all well, i'll be back to tokyo in a couple of days and then on to bangkok. ta ta for now!
