well here i am in kyoto, culture capital of japan and it hasnt let me down so far. was a bit difficult getting here and its much harder to get around the place but its good clean fun all the same! spent today working my way round the buddhist(?) temples, they are fantastic but once youve seen a few they kinda blend into one really, got some good photos though and will upload them for your viewing pleasure soon! stay tuned rat fans. going to the zen gardens tommor...

konichiwa people, had my first proper day in tokyo today minus jet lag! went on a quick visit to all the major places in tokyo took me all day and i think i've walked about twenty miles. i kinda knew what to expect comin here but its still totally blown me away, the people are ssoooooo friendly a family stopped me today so that their little girl could practice her english (she was only 4) and she could speak better english than cas! had my first japanese meal! ...
