Up early, breakfast and caught a bus into LA. It took about an hour changing once passing all sorts of neighbourhoods many of which seemed very familiar with the bungalow being the standard dwelling; very reminiscent of similar homes in both NZ & Oz.
We got off the bus smack bang in the middle of Hollywood Blvd. checked out the stars in the pavement & the Chinese Theatre with the foot and hand prints of some of the greats.
Deciding there was too much ground to cover on our own we booked a tour which took us around LA, Hollywood & Beverley Hills on the open top of a double decker bus. We hopped off at the other end of Hollywood Blvd to walk over yet more famous names in stars. We found a little Mexican restaurant for lunch & once we'd had the menu translated had a really good lunch.
The trip back to our hotel was uneventful once we'd worked out where the bus would be leaving from as the place we arrived at was now closed for a world premier for Planes.
A quick freshen up and w headed out to Sea Dwelling Creatures, the biggest wholesaler of fish, corals & inverts in the US. Like everywhere we've been in the US we were made to feel very welcome. What an awesome facility! We can but dream of having such a fab set up.
Off to a local Greek restaurant to round off the night, tomorrow we head to San Fran, it should be a great day :-)
