Sun is shining, weather is sweet... Not only was I listening to a bit of bob on the way to work this morning, the sun was actually shining (and yes I am still in Britain).

That reminded me that I have some trip coming up in two months. As I type this I have 19 working days left. That's only 38 horrific tube journeys, 19 prawn baguettes from pret and 47 cups of soul draining coffee.

The preparations are well on course. The flat evacuation process has begun, my visa hell is over for now and my money saving is well underway.

I have also acquired some great purchases recently. When I say purchases I mean gifts from good friends. Thank you very much (you know who you are).

Next on the list, travel insurance. Should be fun!
