Things still aren't looking that great on the job front, really really hope they get their licenses as it should make things so much easier. The job front from my side is a bit better but people aren't that interested in employing people on a year visa so it's all about explaining that I don't plan on b*****ing off with no notice and that Steve and I really want to settle down, which we do (we can stay up until May 2011 providing we are accepted for a 2nd visa) we're sick of moving on constantly and really want our own space and some normality. I have had a phone interview and skills assessment for a job back in Christchurch and down to the final 5 people so who knows maybe I'll get an interview!! I've registered with a few temp agencies here in Wellington they say that admin work is picking up, only time will tell.
It's Friday today and my friend Jo has asked if we want to meet up for a few drinkies. We had a good night out, experienced the Wellington nightlife and rolled in at 4.30am and spent the next day in bed all feeling really rough. I'm sure you could have guessed that!
We're all getting really bored in Wellington as there's nothing to do once you've walked around the city, we don't want to spend the precious money we have so we're just stuck in the room watching TV, very exciting. It appears that Rog is getting a cold/flu so three people all stuck in the same room together + one ill person = three ill people.
