We've borrowed some ski trousers which are nice and warm and give a tiny bit more protection for the copious amount of times we're due to fall on our asses! Not being the typical snowboarding freaks we didn't get up the mountain until gone 12 (most people are up there by 9am) we had only planned on getting the snowboards and teaching ourselves but as it turned out there were some really good deals for beginners which included your board rental, lesson and lift pass. So we spent the afternoon learning properly and knowing what we should be doing and why we ended up on floor when we did.

This may come as a huge surprise to you all back home but Steve and I absolutely love snowboarding, and are planning on coming back to have the whole day here tomorrow. It's a great adrenaline rush getting down the tiny gradient slope without falling over that we're eager to get on to bigger slopes where you can go for more than 30 seconds before getting back on the magic carpet lift to come down again.

As of this blog we are now snowboarders!! And snow freaks!!!!!
