A DAY OF LEARNING
The happy caravanners learned much today
PROBLEM
1. Our water tanks were both nearly empty
2. How to be innovative concerning water or the lack of it
3. The awning story. Just when we thought we solved its mysteries, it perplexes us again.
SOLUTION
1 & 2.
Steve got up at the break of day and uplifted our Civil Defence water containers from 22 Denver Grove and we now have one 10litre, a 5 litre and a 15 litre container. We will solely use those for boiling the kettle, cooking and washing our clothes.
Why his need for sleuthing was our tenant was moving into our home today.
Steve also boldly went to one of the powered sites up the road to restore our empty water tanks which incidentally hold 80 litres each. Much jubilation. Now we can toilet and wash ourselves.
3. Awning took quite some time to disassemble and if it hadn’t been for Hawkeye Steve noticing a little clip right at the top most corner, who knows how we would have gotten on. The mischievous awning rolled obediently back into place.
A NEW DISCOVERY
Steve and Sophie discovered Swing Bridge track and the photos he took were magnificent as you can see.
It’s supposed to take an hour return but sadly because the track was closed they couldn’t do the whole walk due to construction goings on.
