We did it. We came to Blackpool and danced at The Tower Ballroom in our jeans and walking shoes. Did the cha cha cha, our waltz and the samba. We couldn't believe our eyes or our feet. Today we woke up bright and late hee hee and set off for Leeds with the help of our navigator ; Google Maps on our cell phone speaking to us. At Tia's, Jimmy's and Halle after a few detours on the way from leaving the Lakes District and now on the final leg of our exciting trip. Beatrix Potter, Windermere and Keswick - this is todays plan and oh what a plan. The World of Beatrix Potter situated in Bowness not Hilltop where we expected it to be was enchanting and spell bounding in its entirety. We were drawn into a children's world of woodland animals and with child like wonder as we felt we had stepped into Beatrix Potter's stories themselves.
