Bitter Springs 14/8/15

Time to replenish supplies in Katherine as this will be the last significant town until we reach Borroloola in several weeks time. Bitter Springs had been highly spoken about by other campers that we were convinced this would be our next 3 day stop. So relaxing, we booked another two nights!! Camped on the banks of the Waterhouse River which feeds into the Roper R. and the thermal springs just 200 mts upstream, which we frequented every morning - what a relaxing way to start the day! On other days we cycled into Mataranka, 16 Km round trip for regular supplies and some added exercise.
