Daly Waters 19/8/15

A few hours drive south along the Stuart Hwy to the iconic Daly Waters Pub. Just a pub, servo and a few houses makeup the township and the influx of tourists support this business. We were ushered to our camping spot by 'Eddie' riding astride his horse come bicycle!! The pub is historic and contains a wealth of information about settlement / droving days but it is more about the memorabilia which has been displayed from people's visits over the years, you name it, it's there, started with bras, jocks and moved onto hats, a thong tree, business cards and surprisingly driver's licences and number plates. It's the place for a good time, great food( thick grilled Barra and steaks) plenty of beer on tap and entertainment every night and plenty of dust on offer!!
