Hey hey.

Following up from Leah's blog from last week, where she confusingly placed a gorgeous photo of me to adorn it, I have placed an even more gorgeous photo of Leah to go with my version of events.

Firstly, Australian TV is messing up the schedules with 24 and it doesn't seem to be on at all anymore. This is upsetting me as I do have a huge man crush on Jack Bauer and I'm not appreciating going cold turkey from his immensely entertaining fix. Grrrrr...

Anyway, I've now been teaching out at Glen Waverley (which is close to Erinsborough High) for two and a half weeks, and I think I'm settling in quite well. The kids seem nice and I even participated in my first ever game of cricket in a Staff v Pupils game. I was the last batsman but was needed in the end, and I scored a magnificent 3 not out as we lost by ONE bloody run!

Leah's school isn't nearly as nice, it would seem but don't worry folks, she is coping well!

We had our first pay day last week and have bought our easter holiday with it. We shall be flying (yikes) to Alice Springs and have booked a 3 day tour to see Uluru (that's Ayers Rock to the uninitiated). We're taking the Ghan train back to Adelaide and then the Overland train (again) back to Melbourne. We will then be flying (yikes) to Sydney and back that weekend for Leah's cousin's wedding. We can't wait!

We're hoping to fit Darwin, Brisbane and Tasmania in at a later date. I've got a zorbing ticket to use up near Brisbane as well. I'm looking forward to that too!

We have a long weekend in a fortnight where we're considering hiring a car and going to Phillip's Island (south of Melbourne) but we haven't decided for sure yet.

So, will Scotland win a rugby match this year? Will ICT make the Scottish Cup Final this year? I'm keeping an eye out on the news back home.

Well, I'd better go. I've got a rotten case of Sunday-itis. Why will nobody pay me for lying in?
