Hello fans!!

Leah here, I am blogging from my science in the movies elective class!! I have 12 kids in front of me watching spiderman quite happily!! I am writing reports at the moment on my laptop which is a monster job- thought I'd have a quick break to update the blog (don't tell anyone!)

We are in the process of uploading photos of our trip to Canberra last weekend. Monday was a holiday for the Queens bday so we took advantage of the long weekend. The city was worth a visit (but not a long one) but we felt a hire car may have been a good idea looking back. The city is quite spaced out and we did a lot of walking, a taxi ride and a random hitch hike to get to all the sites!!

Saw the parliaments (new and newer), the war memorial, museum and round lake Burley Griffin. It was a cold wintery weekend in ACT and kinda felt like home. It's freezing cold in Victoria this week too...brrr.
