We arrived on an overnight sleeper train from Hanoi at 11am, it took 12 hours!! it wasn't too bad, as we shared a cabin (with 6 beds) with a Vietnamese family travelling to Saigon. Its a good way to get to know the locals! They had a 9 month old boy and a 3 year old girl...both very cute. Far better than a bunkhouse in the lakes..... Hue festival on at the moment, lots to see and do. Our hotel is luxury we even have a pool on the roof and we need it in the 39 degree heat. Hopefully going on a boat trip down the Perfume River but for now off out for a few drinks with some people we met on the train. Hope you are all missing us!!
