Hello again, After arriving in Queenstown Saturday we went out for a group meal at the world bar, before having 'some' drinks in the altitude bar. It was a very good night which Steph only remembers half lol! We was up early Sunday morning to catch our bus to Milford Sound. It took us 4 hours to get there but we made the occassional stops at lakes etc. Once we got there we did a 2 hour cruise around before returning to the bus and then back to Queenstown. Milford Sound is supposed to be the most beautiful place in New Zealand but unfortunately it was raining so the views of Mitre Peak wasn't as good as normal. But because of the rain, there were millions of waterfalls which 'were going off' as our bus driver would constantly say. There are only normally 2 constant waterfalls there! That night we were supposed to go out with Jason and Meagan for a few tea pots but they fell asleep. So we went for a couple of tea pots on our own. These tea pots are unique to the world bar. They are full of your chosen cocktail and you are given shot glasses to pour the drink into. After a while you normally drink straight out of the spout. The cocktails we had were fantastic and we thoroughly enjoyed our tea party! On the way back to the hostel we had a legendary Fergburger which was really nice and really big! Today we was up early so we could catch the bus back to Christchurch in order to start the tour of the north island on Wednesday. We are staying in tonight because it is chucking it down and because we do have a t.v in our room lol. Enjoy the pics love Steven and Steph x x
