Hi again. Not sure if I said this in my last blog, but I have a job. Not sure if it'ss be any good, as I'm only getting 2 shifts a week to start with, but I might stick it as the pay is really good. We put in for a flat yesterday. I hope we get it. It's right on the beach with a cracking view. If we get it, I'll post up a photo. You'll be sooooo jealous! Spent yesterday viewing the flat, filling in forms and applying for a bank card. All I need is my tax number now. Went to the zoo today. It was great fun. The main point of it was so Merle could hold the koala and get here photo with it. The digital photo they took was rubbish as the koala had it's eyes closed, and Merle had a funny smile. She was a bit disappointed. On the upside, my photo was really good. I even smiled! We got to feed the kangaroos, see the Red Panda's being fed (I know, there are a lot of photo's of them, but liked them so much),and the massive croc that was about 15 feet long being fed too. Saw a black Taipan snake, the world most venemous snake. Has enough venom to kill over 200 adults! We had lunch there too. Was a bit of an expensive day, but worth it really. Afterwards we went to a small opal mining exhibit. Was nice, if not a bit boring. Wish us luck with our flat!
