Timefor some more from the Kiwi Experience. Day 6 - Franz Josef to Wanaka. We left early to get a good photo opportunity of Lake Matheson, and it was worth it, as you can see in the photo's! The lake is absolutely flat in the morning due to lack of wind, so it has a great reflection of the trees and mountains. We also stopped at a place called the Blue Pools. G'day folks! We're finally in New Zealand! We arrived in Christchurch at 11 at night, and had to meet the Kiwi Experience bus at 7.45 the next morning. Suffice to say, we were quite tired after! Day 1 was Christchurch to Kaikoura. On the way to Kaikoura we stopped to see a seal colony.
