Day 19: Manhattan
After yesterday's walking marathon, I found it really hard to get out of bed this morning. Luckily, my tour started at 3pm.
I'm so excited as today I'm doing the Sex And The City Tour.
The tour is awesome. They show clips of scenes as we pass them by in real life.
We had cupcakes from Magnolia bakery in Greenwhich Village which were half icing and even too sweet for me and (so small too!)
Stopped at The Pleasure Chest, where Miranda bought her 'rabbit', (very interesting stuff in there) especially as I've been reading Fifty Shades!
We took photos at Buddakhan (where they had the dinner before the wedding and Carrie had her last single girl kiss and got to see so many locations from the show.
We finished the tour at Aiden and Steve's Bar 'Scout' in Soho with Cosmopolitans. They were yum and I could've happily sat there and kept drinking them on this hot day in Manhattan :)
Mette (the cool Danish girl that I met in line) and I decided to go for drinks after the tour as we were having such a great time. We stopped at H&M first to buy some more clothes and then found a cool Mexican Tequilla bar, where we downed afew beers and nachos.
After our goodbyes, around 10pm, I went to the observatory at The Empire State Building.
The view was amazing, and I'm rapt to say I got some great photos.
Ended up back at my hotel around midnight after walking the streets of New York.
As I was walking back, I was thinking of how safe I felt in this city and how easy it is to get around.
I could very easily live the New York lifestyle except I hate their frantic pace during the day.
Great day in New York.

Brad Lessware Hey! I get the same safe feeling whenever I'm in NY as well. I understand that when Juliani was Mayor that he cleaned the place up and he is very respected across the State. I also think that since 9/11 that New Yorkers have branded together and the place is always on high security alert. Great to see you are having such a wonderful time!!
