Day 1:
Landed at LAX. Went through customs and all the way to the outside taxi rank, still thinking " this could be Australia"
Only heard one American accent throughout the whole time!
Same as Oz, people working there from all backgrounds.
Whilst waiting in the que for a taxi, I'm checking out the first black American dude working there in his cool Raybans, thinking " ok, I'm here"
Checked into Days Inn Hotel on Sunset Blvd. Nice place, great location, clean and the bonus is it has a pool which I have to jump into after the long flight.
Gonna have an easy day today. Terribly jet lagged and hungry.
Dinner: 2 pkts of chips from the outdoor vending machine and a Hershey Bar.
