After Fraser we travelled overnight for 13 hours to Airlie Beach where we were to do our Whitsundays Sailing Trip.

This turned out to be much better and two girls we had met on Fraser were on our boat with us. This was a two night cruise around the islands and we had opted for a proper sailing boat, rather than a booze cruise, to get the full experience.

Here we went to the famous Whitehaven Beach, which was out of this world. Here we had to go swimming in stinger suits, due to all the jelly fish and our group also did a human pyramid on the beach, which is always a great laugh. We also went snorkelling and scuba diving on the reef which was amazing. The evenings prooved to be very amusing as the crew kept us entertained with us all taking part in the Goon olympics and ending the night very drunk. Yes this was very dangerous being drunk on board a small sailing boat- I have a nice scare on muy knee to proove it! llol

Unfortunately the trip didnt end too well as we both got eaten alive by bed bugs! :( This didnt stop us from trying out the nightlife in Airlie Beach and all the different groups met up and did a big bar crawl.

Great trip and would recommend it to anyone, perhaps without the bed bugs!
