Day Sixty - August 4th, 2013
Darwin

We will be away early tomorrow so spent the morning pottering around the tent (after being abruptly woken by someone mistaking our tent) and packing up for our trip into Kakadu. We gave everything a good clean up and now the tent looks super spacious! Hopefully that will keep the heat out a little tonight. After a dip in the pool and a PB&J for lunch, we spent the afternoon escaping the sun in the shay picnic area with Chris ad Elayne swapping travel stories and becoming totally engrossed in their amazing tales. Elayne, as a hairdresser, got her hands on Elly's locks and gave him a much needed trim. It's most definitely the best cut he's had in a long time, if not ever, and we can see why her own sons didn't visit a barber until they were 26!
Mum and Ang then picked us all up for a trip to Coles (C&E's car is still in Dili!) and bought up some essentials for our trip. Very exciting!
We cooked and had a last evening together and said our sad fairwells to this amazing couple. No doubt we'll meet somewhere on this earth again! Tomorrow we will start exploring the Top End for real! The alarm is set for 5.45am - bed time now.
