Day Fifty Five - August 30th, 2013

Today we did nothing. We slept badly in the heat, and woke up feeling listless. After a quick shop at Coles, and a little refuge from the sun in the air conditioned mall, we set our sights on Kmart and a new tarpaulin, as we have lost ours. With purchases in hand, we returned to the campsite where we put up the tarp as quickly as we could and headed straight to the pool. Apart from a break for lunch and three loads of laundry, we spent the day there. Our clothes are clean if we have achieved nothing else today! We had a cold supper and stood under the coldest showers the camp allows (the water tank is heated by the sun, so it's always warm). Hopefully we will feel better tomorrow - we have booked ourselves in for two more nights but are moving to an unpowered sight. The rates also drop down to "off peak" on Sunday, so we will be paying $34 instead of the $45 we are paying now! Must go, too hot to write.
