Friday 14th Dec

We got up in good time and made the most of our free breakfast before we left for the beach. We thought to buy a weekly ticket to save us money rather than forking out too much for each day so we went to shop to get them!

We caught our tram which only goes to Prahan then we had to walk about 20 minutes to the beach. We were a bit slow on walking as the heat were picking up at nearly 30 degrees.

When we arrived at the beach, we were annoyed by lots of flies that flow around us. Bet they liked the smell of our sunscreen!!! We found our spot on the beach and sunbathed with Daniel listening to his ipod and Lisa reading her book. It was quite windy with lots of sand blown to us!

After around 2 hours sunbathing on the beach, Lisa gave up because she got annoyed with lots of flies bothering her and with the wind blowing sand all over her! So we decided to walk around the town of St Kilda to see if we could find any bargains. We came away with nothing unfortunately.

We procceeded to catch a tram back to Windsor which our hostel is. After checking out the timetable for the trams, we were unable to catch the tram till sometimes in the early evening! So we decided to walk bit further to get a different tram which would take us direct to Windsor instead of walking. As we were walking, we walked past the library and decided to pop in to see if we could use the internet for free.

Once inside the library, unfortunately we have to be a member to use the internet so we enquried about it. We were able to become a temporary member so Daniel signed up for one. We were entitled to have 30mins free internet so we booked straight away and managed to go on the internet. Its handy cos there is no wireless access for our laptop to use at our hostel.

After the library, we continued walking to catch the tram and we arrived at the perfect timing at the stop as the tram was arriving! We jumped on and went straight to Windsor, returning back to the hostel. We ended up watching tv again for the most of the evening. We could have gone out to do bit of drinking or anything else like that, but unfortunately we couldn't really afford it! We rather save our money to do the adventures, seeing its once of the lifetime experience where with drinking, we can do that anytime back at home! Don't worry, we are also saving for our christmas day as our treat for either BBQ or the restaurant with a nice bottle of wine hopefully!!

for people who have been asking about Neighbours or Home and Away, we haven't been able to see any episodes lately so we have no idea what is happening at the moment! Sorry!!
