Sunday 9th Dec

We decided that we both needed to get out of the hostel as it was driving us up the wall and doing nothing! We thought it would be nice to have a picnic in the park nearby.

We prepared all sorts such as pasta, sandwiches, fruits and drinks to take with us. We also brought our books to read while relaxing in the sun.

Once we got there, we proceeded to have our lunches but unfortunately we had to sit on the ground without blankets. It was uncomfortable with alot of ants crawling about on the grond. It forced us to eat on the park bench which sorta ruined the picnic experience.

Once we have finished our picnic, the weather turned quite windy and cold. It looked as it was going to rain so we thought that it would be a best idea to get a tram back to our hostel to be on safe side!

Again, on our return, we just did nothing and we are starting to feel a itch to get out of Melbourne. We have been here far too long but we can't proceed to move on to another area as we are meant to be in Sydney by 23rd Dec. Its probably a good thing that we are going to St Kilda for a week to see the different scenery and to relax on the beach to top up on our tans!
