We went on the sightseeing bus as it was the only way to get about and to the beaches as we planned to spend a day on the beach. While we were going around on the route, there was a deaf couple already on board. They were from England, visiting Cape Town for their daughter's wedding. We had a brief chat and then it was time for us to jump off the bus. We went straight to the beach and sunbathed for the rest of the day till it was time to catch the bus before the service stopped running. Unfortunately it meant that we had to get off at the waterfront instead of the bus stop nearest to our hostel. We had to walk all the way back to the hostel, adding around a hour on top for the journey. Once we arrived, we went ahead to cook our tea and then showers. For the rest of the evening, we updated our blog which took all evening!
