Sunday 30th March

Daniel woke up quite early and decided that he couldn't sleep anymore. He then decided to wake Lisa up who wanted bit more of sleep! However, it was a good thing that we have got up in good time so we can go ahead and have a whole day to do sightseeing around Cape Town as well as visiting the Table Mountain. First thing we did was walking towards the sightseeing bus stop which was at least 20mins away from our hostel. Unfortunately we were too early so we had to wait for a long while.

Eventually it arrived and we boarded on and sat upstairs in the open-air bus so we could see better as well as taking photos. We saw few museums, castle along the route towards the Table Mountain. We finally reached the destination after a hour to board onto the cable car to get to the top of the mountain for the views.

Luckily for us, there wasn't much waiting around in the queue to purchase the tickets. Once we got the tickets, there was a long wait to board onto the cable car. We finally reached to the top and saw the amazing views. After admiring the views and taking photos, we decided to come back down to the ground as we knew that we had alot of sightseeing to do. We weren't sure where we would wanted to get off as the sightseeing bus was a hop on, hop off tour. We thought to get off for the beaches but then we realised we decided to save it for the next day.

We just stayed on the bus and completed the route which took a couple of hours. We got off at the Waterfront which had crafts markets going on. We had a look around and there were plenty of african stuff to be seen. We were hoping to visit the major crafts market on the first day we arrived to Cape Town but unfortunately we couldn't find it!

We hopped back onto the bus and got off at the nearest bus stop to walk back to the hostel. We then checked in and we learnt that they provide free wireless access to the internet. We failed to connect and after couple of hours fiddling around, Daniel managed to sort it out and we were able to browse on the internet for the rest of the evening, catching up!
