hi all, Last night i went to bed at 9pm, what a rebel! I nearly got up again because I heard what I thought was fireworks. Turns out that it was a row of houses burning down and the firworks was from the gas!! Went to Manukan Island today and spent the day chilling out on the beach. the guy who im sharing a room with (smells a bit fousty and doesnt speak english) tagged along. Stopped off at some fish markets with the manager of the hostel and got supplies for tonights tea - chinese raviolii, should be interesting! I'm off to Kuala Lumpur tomorrow morning which i'm kind of looking forward to. Borneo is lovely and so untouched by tourists. It doesn't really have any historic sites because it all got destroyed in WW2 but the nature and animals make up for it. I need an extra month here to see all the things I want.
