Hi guys, I'm going to update the past few days as I haven't written since 23rd so check out those pages too! Last night and this morning we had major storms which was pretty scary. This morning I woke up on turtle island at 5am and went looking for turtles again. Saw about 40 babies going to sea - they are super cute. Got a speedboat to another island for breakfast and then back to the mainland. Because of the weather they had covered the sides of the boat and we couldn't see so it was like a scary ride, I was gripping on so tight! I then had to wave down a bus on the main road to take me the rest of the 7 hours to Kota kinabalu. The roads are really bad here and my plan of catching up on sleep failed. We went a different way back and seemed to go up Mount Kinabalu (malaysia's tallest mountain). They don't have barriers (+ extreme drops) so I was clinging on so tight because the driver was whizzing round the mountain and it was wet and windy - scary stuff. I have had the song 'come join the joy ride' by roxette in my head all day which was ironic - i certainly haven't had a joyful ride today! Arrived about 5pm so another 12 hour travelling experience! I'm averaging around 4-5 hours sleep a night. I'll be staying in a nice (so far) wee guest house in Kota Kinabalu for the next few days before heading back to K.L. Sarah hope the hen night went well. I'm so sad i missed it. You will need to fill me in on all the gossip! How long now til d.day????? I laughed out loud about the sausage roll thing - typical greggs huh! Ewan, I think the aloa vera is dead - it hasn't been watered for 2 years! Even the riviera can't fix it! Love to all laura
