Howdy crew. Just got into Auckland yesterday from Christchurch. Sadly all I've been doing is that 'nature smature' stuff. I got a boat out to the Queens Charlotte track last week. It's a walk along the Queen Charlotte Sounds. A pretty dull walk really, with pretty dull people everywhere too. At least I know now. I've posted some photo's up and also added some photo's from the Rees-Dart walk which I got back. I'm going diving for 5 days this week up north....

Just got back to Christchurch after spending last week walking the Rees-Dart Track in the south west of the island. It's a 4 day walk with an extra day added if you decide to climb past the Dart Glacier up to the Cascade Saddle. The first day was mostly wadding through ankle to knee deep mud along river flats thanks to recent rain. Happy NY everyone. It's been a busy few weeks. Sarah flew in on NYE and the four of us drove up to Able Tasman National Park the next day to go Kayaking for 3 days. Landed safely on the 18th December 2003. Wal and Ged convinced me into joining them for a 'easy' 50-60km ride the next day. Should have known better as the ride was actually only 50km's, but most off it was in the mountains behind Christchurch.
