Just got back to Christchurch after spending last week walking the Rees-Dart Track in the south west of the island. It's a 4 day walk with an extra day added if you decide to climb past the Dart Glacier up to the Cascade Saddle. Landed safely on the 18th December 2003. Wal and Ged convinced me into joining them for a 'easy' 50-60km ride the next day.
